Outline Of Workshop
Gaining self-awareness
It is only on the basis of an accurate sense of who we really are that we can start to make reliable decisions around work, relationships, and personal goals. We will introduce the subject of Emotional Intelligence by identifying Daniel GolemanIs five pillars: self-awareness, self- management, empathy, communication skills and group dynamics.
The importance of connecting with others
We will explore how success in the modern workplace is often defined by how we succeed collectively. Participants will discuss their experiences of rapport building and consider the barriers that effect good communication.
Making a great first impression
The participants will understand how feelings promote action. We will introduce a communication model to show how this works in practice.
Asking effective questions
Participants will learn how to engage in active listening and effective questioning, ensuring their audience feels seen and heard.
Articulating your value
Participants will learn the power of using story to engage an audience, increase trust and motivate action. Individually participants will consider a specific skill they use in their work and evidence it with an anecdote.
